I spent a great few days with colleagues at Typo London last weekend. The conference was held over 3 days and was packed with a number of designers. All the talks were of great benefit to me in one way or another but one that really stood out to me was Eva-Lotta Lamb ’s talk on sketch notes. My moleskins are usually 50% lists, 50% doddles- it’s something I’ve always done. I can’t resist putting a box around titles or drawing a small diagram to help me visualise something. Before going away on holiday I sketch out all my outfits to help keep packing light. So it was very uplifting to hear about a lot of other people who do this too. Eva-Lotta Lamb’s talk was brilliantly entertaining and funny- I’m a little jealous of her quick turn around of the lecture notes her on flickr . I’m sure I’ll be blogging about this subject more in the near future.
